< 10 kbps WiFi speed On the Framework Laptop 13 Pro

Head’s up for Fedora users: The current install media for Fedora 44 is dated Tuesday, April 28, 2026, which includes kernel version 6.19.10-300.fc44.x86_64. You’ll need to use an Ethernet connection and update the kernel (currently 7.1.8-200.fc44.x86_64) after install to get usable WiFi speeds.

Framework team: With fedora being being an official partner, could you nudge them to release updated install media?

You sure it’s not an AP->RF interaction specific to your Access Point? there are ton of issues with esp Broadcom radios in ISP provided AP’s - ESPECIALLY with Intel Wireless .

I’m sure. This was directly under a Unifi AP.

Unifi is just a brand - they use a range of Radios from different vendors for each model product line ; understanding specific model of AP will help narrow issue.

what wifi chip does your computer have?

I got the same issue directly after installing Fedora Silveblue 44 on my Framework 13 Pro. And it was also solved by just installing the latest updates using the Ethernet adapter.
