13 Won’t Charge and Is Making High Pitched Whirring

So I got this laptop literally last week, short of having to fight with the bluetooth drivers it’s all been smooth sailing. Yesterday I had it plugged in on lower battery to game with a few friends online and it died and hasn’t accepted a charge since last night close to 12 hours ago. I left it alone, left it plugged in, woke up this morning and nothing. Unplugged it, plugged it back in, and it started making a high pitched whirring sound (yikes) and I browsed other posts of people with the same issues, disconnected the battery for a few minutes and put it back in. The noise is very much still there and the pilot light still won’t turn on. I’m a full time student so I can’t exactly spend a lot of time just troubleshooting shooting since I have 11 hours to be stuck on campus. I bought this laptop so it would work better than my windows and I’d really like it to be able to continue to do that

Hi.

Most people here are just other users like you.
It sounds like a hardware fault to me, so only FW support can help.
Contact them using the support web form on the framework website.
My guess is that they will probably send you a replacement mainboard.
