# 3rd party internal speakers?

I have been looking at the 80db speakers for a while now. They “appear” to be in stock in the US now, but alas, they are not (emailed back and forth with support about it). Has anyone considered (or successfully/unsuccessfully) repurposed other laptop speakers within your Framework laptop? I have been considering the idea of purchasing some Macbook Pro speakers online (ebay has a bunch of them), and attempting to install them within my Framework laptop. Thoughts? Suggestions?

Very interesting! Considering that they are around $10 it might be worth trying!
I don’t believe anyone else has done this before.
You may need a little soldering skill considering the connectors are different.
