A mere 6 minutes

That’s all the longer the latest drop of Mystery boxes were in-stock. Me thinks someone greedy bought them all up at once without leaving any for the rest of us…and that’s just rude.

I legit had just opened the email as it came in (phone was in-hand) and was about to add to my cart and it was already OOS. Then back to page and they ALL were OOS. Really!? Not cool. Next time give the rest of us a chance to pick up a box!

Would be nice if Framework would restrict Mystery Box purchases to one of each type, per person, per day. This is the 3rd time boxes have come in and gone out of stock in under 10 minutes! No way they were all one-off purchases. I wouldn’t at all be surprised if some “entrepreneur” is buying them all up to resell on ebay, precluding any sense of community.

Yeah same here. Oh well…

This would be nice.
But it could also be that they just have like 20 boxes in stock. Framework is not a big reseller that has thousands of returns a day.

I think it is because of a low number of mystery boxes, and high interest. I got in on the first mystery boxes, and they were gone in a very short amount of time (I don’t remember specifically).

Also, the email isn’t perfect. I have seen the mystery boxes come in stock a few (short) times and no email was ever received.

All totally valid points! I welcome the opportunity to be wrong. I just think some transparent limits would appeal to all of us who would like a fair shot at one.

Even stating in the email how many were in the drop would simmer down some of the irk we feel when it seems like anything less than superhuman/robotic speed results in getting left out yet again. “Oh, there’s only 20, no wonder they’re gone already. Fair enough.”

Not to mention the very mean captcha click box they added to that page refresh, so anyone who doesn’t invest time in to scripting/programming an automatic bypass for that button are at a disadvantage. They are prioritizing those for smart people by doing that. But maybe that’s what they want for mystery boxes.
