I am based in the UK, and I made an order on November 26, 2025. After three days the parcel moved to 70 Km from my location. From there, it has been “On the way - A trusted third-party vendor is on the way with your package.”, and it did not move a meter since then. Today it is December the 6th, with no updates, no emails, nothing. Everything managed by FedEx.
My fear is that they will find the excuse of the Christmas period to deliver it next year…
It would be nice if, when placing an order, we could pick our preferred delivery company ourselves; a bit of competition is always healthy for everybody.
Did you consider the option of selling through Amazon?
At the end my order was delivered on December the 9th.
The parcel started with FedEx, and it was delivered by Royal Mail. So, something must have happened along the way (e.g. FedEx went over its capability).
What I did not like is that a parcel worth £350 was managed like any postcard, with no recorded delivery, not even the basic one. The postman just dropped it in my mailbox, with no signature required.
Unfortunately, I think the holiday shopping is really slowing stuff down right now. I had a couple packages (not from Framework) that were delayed by a week or so, including one that was “out for delivery” four times before they finally got around to actually delivering it.
I think all the shippers are just swamped right now.
