Always ON power usage

I’ve been thinking of using the framework motherboard as a always on server, which I may occasionally use for general computing from time to time, my only concern is electric use, I don’t want to use a lot of electric for a syncthing, restic backup machine, and maybe something to pull and push files from every now and again when I dont want to go to the cloud itself.

Have others used the frame work 13 as a server, if so, is the power draw a good amount, or is it fine when idle?

A lot of people have been getting power draw around the 5-10w mark on their laptop, it should be similar when running headless.

Under 3w at idle:

(* But also depends on the amount of system memory, and choice of SSD)
