Annoying sound scratch when scrolling with mouse.
- Which OS (Operating System)? Windows 11
- Which Framework product: Laptop 16, AMD AI 300 , GPU (NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5070,
- SSD 4gb SN850x and a 2gb SN770M.
- Latest bios 03.04
When using a Bluetooth mouse, I here the ssd scratching like if its under heavy load.
Tried a Logitec MX3s mouse and a Microsoft Surface mouse, both have the same issue.
The mouse donbt have this issue on another laptop to close that out.
Its also there with sound off, so its not an intentional scroll wheel sound effect?
I just scroll a webpage….
Its not making sound when:
- scrolling the webpage with the arrow up down.
- scrolling with the toughpad on the laptop (very light sound scratching but 10 times lower.
Is this a kind of coil whine effect? Anyone with the same ‘problem‘?
ps: @communitysupport: the support tags only lists the older 16 740 version, support please add the laptop 16 ryzen 300 version tag! So I was forced to add the wrong laptop version tag.
