Running a couple year old Framework 16 using Windows and always thought it ran really hot and tending towards ultra low end on battery performance (brand new lucky to get 2.5 hours even with using the APU, and just writing and nothing else open). Switched to GPU dropped to little over an hour or so. And nowadays much worse on both.
But just installed the Framework Control and looking at the actual temps… this seems high on the APU, or am I wrong?
For the duration of this read, not doing anything on the laptop but watching the chart. Just Firefox and notepad open and fans set to auto.
Although even when setting the fan to 100% and running it like that for an extended period, the APU temp changes almost not at all, dropping to a steady idle-ish state of 55 degrees instead of around 60.
But anyway, do these seem like pretty normal numbers for a mostly idle state or is the APU indeed running a bit hot?
