I thought 12th Gen are all shipping from Taiwan directly?
I’m seeing folks in the Batch 2 thread say Taiwan, so that would be what I suspect. But who really knows.

Well, it’s official, people who ordered the same spec appear to be having their orders dispatched despite ordering several days after mine.
I’ve now written to framework to see why this is. It could be because I made an amendment to my order (added another expansion card, no spec change).
This is frustrating. I don’t mind waiting in line, but it’s annoying to see others getting shipping notifications or actually getting their laptops before me who ordered after.

Can you guys enter the information about your orders on this spreadsheet? I see quite many people posting updates here which are not available on the spreadsheet.
I’d like to see exactly how long it took for each of you to get your emails. I’ve placed my order 2 weeks ago and so far there’s been no activity on my side…

I got a text message that my 1240p gets delivered to my home in the Netherlands on september 27. I’m in the spreadsheet @TermoZour mentioned as ‘Cathodion’.

You should see estamation date during checkout process.
In my case I ordered on 20th of July and it was estimation late September.
Step 2 begin of September,
Step 3 and 4 after 2 weeks on 15th Sep.
I recieved Notification about Shipping yesterday Sep 19th.
Tracker shows it sent on Sep 18th.
Store’s estimation looks precise for me.
I would expect +1 month delay.

Shipping info: Tracking shows Taiwan. That is awesome!!!

Mine just said “expected delivery: Batch 3 - September”.
In short, no other information than what I’m currently seeing when checking my order in the account page. It just says “Preorder status: Preorder placed. Batch 3 - Ships September”. Maybe support can give some more insights about my order? I’m currently one of 4 people who got the 1280P DIY in the UK (according to the excel) so… not sure.

Same for my DIY 1260P. I think anyone who ordered after the Sept. 3 preparing batch notification but did order in Batch 3, just missed getting that email since we ordered after it went out. Unless batches are shipped in smaller batches, which is what I am starting to think is happening. According to the sheet, anyone who ordered before Sept. 3 (step 2) email also got step 3 (preparing order) on Sept. 19. And anyone ordering after Sept. 3 gets Batch (3.5)

FYI - For some of you waiting for shipping notifications, you can also log into your FedEx account online and see if a label was created for your package. Just checked mine and I see that there was a label created in Taiwan, by Framework Computer. And now I have a tracking number.

Seems like USA orders are getting prioritised. Nearly all emails in the spreadsheet for 19th and 20th are for North America. Pretty frustrating to see this because I’m from the UK and lots of people who ordered after me are having their orders processed ahead of me. Really hope I get the step 3 email this week!

Got my card charged yesterday. I5 1240P, DIY, German KB, 3x USB-C 1x USB-A. No other components - will get ram and ssd separately.

I saw somewhere that the type-cover availability is also a part of the equation of when your system ships. So if you ordered a different type-cover from US English, then it’s possible that may be the difference between when different systems ship. However, that could be hearsay.

From the looks, once your card got charged, shipping is next day.
Only thing is, don’t get your hopes up for Fedex’s ETA date. Add a couple of days to manage the expectations.

This should be the case, but you may not get shipping email immediately. They won’t send the shipping email until it clears Customs in Taiwan and is in actual route to the destination country.
