Hey everyone. I’m using the mid tier DIY framework from Batch 3.
Just today I went ahead and followed the hinge replacement guide to see if I could tighten the hinges. There didn’t seem a way to tighten them manually so I followed the reassembly steps and called it there.
Now, however the laptop will not power on.
The laptop did not have any power before the disassembly so all the testing was done with the cable connected.
As soon as the AC cable is connected.
The power indicator LED will flash Green, then white, then after a short pause it will flash red for about a minute or so.
If I try to power on as the white blinking light is still on, the power button will turn white for about 10 seconds and turn off. Any attempts to turn on the machine will result in a red power button.

I also went ahead and double checked all the components.
As far as I can tell there aren’t any issues with the machine but the laptop still refuses to turn on.
If anyone has some ideas or tips on the issue I would appreciate it if you share them below.
