Batch 9 - FW16 AMD-AI-300 - Guild

I wonder if these DB9 adapters will work on your very old equipment. Most of the USB/Serial adapters use emulation and not true serial chips. We had huge problems talking to a lot of Telecommunication equipment that use Serial as the only Comms connection for programming. Quite a few want true hardware signalling that emulation chips do not provide. Our solution was purchasing hardcore industrial level USB/Serial Converters that were close to AUS $400,- about 8 years ago.

Once my Framework 16 shows up, I will let you know! The design on the serial adapter looks correct, with the level shifters generating the expected voltage and every pin connected through to the FTDI, not just the main 3 like some adapters. And the FTDI converters are usually extremely good (for the price, they better be). I have high hopes for it.

Just received my batch preparation email. I’m in Belgium, ordered the 370 with AMD GPU and 96gb of RAM

The ram in my batch prep email is 228.1€ more expensive than when in-placed my order

The 8TB SSD is 153€ more expensive :frowning:

Surprising, I got similar info today. My price at this stage has not changed, due to me ordering it just a fortnight ago.

Your order is shipping soon! The outstanding balance will be charged in 3-18 days, and the order will be shipped 1-3 days after payment is complete.

I also received my batch preparation email overnight. I’m in the US and ordered a full laptop, but no GPU. It doesn’t appear my RAM or SSD are any more expensive than expected.

Its crazy how quick batch 7 and batch 9 are together

Yes, it seems they decided to put batches 6-9 all together. In effect they have handled four lots:

Batch 1&2
Batch 3-5
Batch 6-9
Batch 10…

Turns out they are actually planning to meet the shipping in December deadline!

Very impressive, surprising even, but hey I’m not complaining!

Got my batch preparation email a few hours ago. No change to pricing from when I ordered. Now I’m excited! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Same for me, so far I have nothing to complain about. I think they handle it crazy well given the scale and complexity, now I hope the hardware is going to be smooth as well XD

That aged very poorly. I’ve also experienced the silent increase and the system has attempted to charge me the new price today, despite promises from the support claiming they are ā€˜working with [the] Marketplace developers to investigate [the] order’.

If you live in Canada or the EU I would simply contact support and work this out with them. They can’t change price without any warning.
