I wanted to pass this along to the community, and to FW Devs such as @Kieran_Levin. No idea if it will solve the various power drain in sleep, hibernate, or power off issues that have been talked about here it not, but here goes anyway…
On some Intel client platforms like SKL/KBL/CNL/CML, there is a
PCH thermal sensor that monitors the PCH temperature and blocks the system
from entering S0ix in case it overheats.
Wondering why they specify these platforms omitting 12th 11th or 8th intel platforms gen.
