Basically ever since January 22nd 2026 I’ve been getting a TPM 0x80284001 error and its always happens when I load up Battlefield 6 and I’ve tried everything, clearing the TPM, reinstalling the anticheat, repairing the entire game via steam, uninstalling and reinstalling the entire game. I just don’t know what to do anymore.
If you guys have any tips or fixes that might fix it would be appreciated.
FW16 specs;
AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS
AMD Radeon RX 7700s
32gb of ddr5 ram
I don’t have any recommendations on fixing the issue unfortunately, you’ve already tried everything I can think of beyond reinstalling Windows.
For whatever it’s worth, I can say that my FW 16 with 7840HS and RX7700s has not yet ran into this issue and I was playing BF6 over the weekend.
That sounds like an incredibly frustrating problem.
maybe try typing “Battlefield 6 TPM 0x80284001” into copilot.microsoft.com with “think deeper” set.
it lists the most obvious things to try that should identify the secure boot problem.
Essentially, the secure boot might have problems and need attention.
I’ve already tried asking Ai but all the suggestions lead nowhere
