Bazzite on Framework 13 Intel 11th gen

I wanted to find a second use for my retired Framework 13 Intel 11th gen, and not long ago my Steam Link died. This felt like a good time to try SteamOS on the Framework 13 Intel 11th gen mainboard with the Cooler Master case.
SteamOS did not work, but not entirely surprised as this mainboard does not seem compatible with SteamOS.
Trying Bazzite with the installer bazzite-deck-stable-amd64 worked great. The name can be misleading, but I got there by telling the Bazzite download site that it is for a Framework laptop, Intel Arc GPU (which I don’t have), KDE, and Yes to boot into Steam. Following the install guide Bazzite Installation on the Framework Laptop 13 - Framework Guides everything went well. I’m not sure how I ended up on the Intel Arc, the guide clearly says to use Intel UHD from the Legacy list, but it did work.
For expansion ports I am using 1 USB-C for power, 1 HDMI to my television, 1 Ethernet for internet, and 1 USB-A for a keyboard/mouse receiver. I was concerned about not enough USB-A ports for controllers in case they needed to be wired, but was pleasantly surprised that Bazzite uses the Bluetooth better and allows at least 2 simultaneous controllers, will test soon with more.
For anyone looking to use a Framework 13 Intel 11th gen mainboard as a way to stream Steam games from a PC onto a television, this worked well for me.

One quirk, and haven’t begun troubleshooting, but the bluetooth controllers I’m using do not work with Steam Big Picture on boot, but when going to desktop and verify bluetooth connections, sometimes reconnecting, and relaunching Steam Big Picture they work great. PS5 Dualsense, Nintendo Switch Pro, and 8bitDuo controllers are what I have tried so far.
