BE200 wifi card not connecting via 5Ghz band

Hi All,

So I own a Framework 13 with an 11th gen i5. This machine still serves me greatly. upgraded the cover, the screen(to the new framework pro screen which is amazing) and updated the wifi card to a Wifi7 BE200.

Currently I’m running fedora 44 with kernel 7.1.8-200 with the newest bios version (25) I believe to utilize the touchscreen capabilities. All works perfect, except for the BE200 Wifi chip. Though the new Framework 12 release with the same wifi chip made me believe this would work, also for me?

The 2ghz band works like a charm, but the 5ghz band doesn’t connect. Has anybody run into / solved this? If I only get wifi working, than everything works as it should.
The one thing holding me back was Citrix Workspace on Linux, which didn’t install, but got that installed aswell!

I don’t have a direct answer, but it might be worth your browsing through dmesg on the console to see if you can see any Wi-Fi negotiation logs in there.

Also, do you have another computer/phone than connects to the 5Ghz band on the same AP? Worth checking that 5Ghz is available, of course.

Yes so it it said: denied authentication (status 33)
But with some trouble shooting in the konsole and Router settings it was fixed!
