Black screen when switching to 7700S

Windows 11 24H2
AMD Driver 23.40.18.02 (also tried AMD latest drivers)
Bios iGPU set to Gaming (otherwise W11 does not boot)

Suddenly my 16 has started black screening when launching games and it switches to the 7700S. The mouse cursor stops moving, and then the screen goes black.

Most of the time I can ALT+F4 and return to desktop but occasionally I have to perform a full power cycle.

Does this on and off the 180W brick, although if I plug into a monitor as an external screen with USB-C and use it’s 90W PD supply games launch okay.

I’ve reset the bios, reset the AMD Adrenalin settings to default, DDU’d the drivers. Nothing has helped.

Changing from AMD SmartAccessGraphics to Hybrid Graphics Mode and games launch…

I was having this same problem and can confirm that Hybrid Graphics mode solved it for me too. @NEITG by chance, do you also have the 3.0.5 BIOS? I suspect it’s related.
