Hello, I am researching a new laptop but one function i do require is Bluetooth. It appears not to to be mentioned in the Specification for the 16" laptop. Wi-Fi7 is mentioned but not Bluetooth. I see mention is made under a few Linux topics of Bluetooth but nowhere else that I can find. Does the 16" have Bluetooth and if so, what spec? Has it been an overight not to mention it if in fact Bluetooth is included?
The FW16 definitely has Bluetooth - it ships with a Mediatek MT7922, which does have Bluetooth support but also is kind of crappy in its driver support on Linux (both on the Wifi and Bluetooth side). I’ve replaced mine with an AX210 FWIW; I would recommend doing the same if you’re planning on running Linux on the thing.

Which network card is in yours? I didn’t really try to use Bluetooth, but I did have constant Wifi problems until I sprung for the AX210. And apparently Mediatek’s Bluetooth support is known to be bad on the Linux side as well. For example:
MediaTek Bluetooth support on Linux is built into the mainline kernel via the
btusbandbtmtkmodules, but newer or integrated Wi-Fi/Bluetooth combo chips (like the MT7922, MT7925, MT7927, and MT7902) frequently experience regressions, soft-blocks, or missing firmware support upon release. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Like I said, after my own experience with the wifi, I would recommend spending the $18 for an AX210 if you’re planning on using Linux with it.
I honestly don’t know. Whatever was shipped stock on release.
Actually, now that you mention it, I’ve had issues with gaming on a mouse connected over bluetooth. I attributed that to the mouse.
