Bricked Laptop 13 During Bios Update

Which Framework Laptop 13 model are you using? AMD Ryzen™ AI 300 Series

The system was updating fine, but slowly then near 90% done went dark. I left it for an extra hour in case it was finishing while the screen was off. The laptop was plugged into AC power with a full battery.

Not sure what troubleshooting steps are available when the whole system is unresponsive to anything. Won’t post won’t respond to power button.

Contact FW support via their web page form.
It is mainly only other users, like me, here.
My guess is a new mainboard is needed.

just out of curiosity did this happen while you maybe connected to a dock/ kvm of sorts ? The 7040 series are all having an issue with the newest bios and that problem exactly. Might be worth your time to simply disconnect it all and then restart.
