[SOLVED] Can it drive 2 4k displays at 60Hz?

I’m considering buying the 12th gen version of the laptop, and I have a few questions:

  1. If I was to get 2 DP or HDMI modules, would the laptop be capable of driving 2 external 4k displays with at least 60Hz? I’m talking about general desktop use, with the heaviest tasks being some 4k video playback or websites with heavy animations.
  2. Can I use the external displays exclusively (i.e. have the main laptop display turn off when I connect the external ones).

The answer is yes to both questions. If you want to use DP, you can use the USBC expansion cards as Thunderbolt supports an embedded DP signal.
