So a year+ ago I got the framework 16 because I greatly wanted the features it had (swapping input features, that expansion bay, plus the same port setup the 13 has); alas this past year has proven to me that device is much much to heavy, so I am changing it’s role to a “Desktop Replacement” (sometime later ill add the nvidia card for gaming potential sense ill no longer be hauling it everywhere) and I just placed an order for the Framework 13 yesterday.

I ordered the transparent purple bezel, and usb-c ports, but my sense of aesthetic isn’t really a fan of tri-tone (black keys, silver chassis, purple as stated) so I was wondering how hard it would be to custom order (or better yet convince the framework team to manufacture) a input deck where the keys are that same transparent purple, and a overlay for the trackpad to tint it the same (or better yet a trackpad that is truely transparent and lets you see the guts below)

What’s your potential budget for this project? How possible it is, would depend on being willing to spend enough, spend what it might cost to get it made.

Perhaps you could add more about what you’re looking for, what might be acceptable, what’s not.
Since you mention ordering it, is doing some work yourself not an option? If not willing or able, the cost will likely be higher. You’re talking about finding and hiring someone. Plus paying costs involved.
Acceptable finish, surface finish and quality of translucency could increase costs a lot.
With translucent keys, would that be without any legends / letters on the keys? What you want, what acceptable here could also increase cost by quite a bit.

Just to maybe give some idea on how feasible it could be. To be clear, this isn’t a project I’m offering to take on or considering on taking on.
