Having just placed a pre-order for a Ryzen mainboard, I started thinking about the logistics of re-selling my old components when I upgrade. Would it be possible to buy OEM packaging from the marketplace that would allow me to properly pack and ship my old mainboard & display when it comes time to resell them? To minimize waste, I’m thinking the empty boxes would come more or less exactly as I would ship them out myself, allowing me to just replace the labels.
If I were to do it myself using materials from a UPS store, I’d probably go overboard in protecting the screen & mainboard for shipping, so it might actually be less wasteful to ship me a custom box which I could re-use on the way out.
