Hi, I have been using for the past six weeks Chimera Linux after using Arch Linux for several months without issue and perfectly stably (as is typical with Arch). With Chimera I began experiencing almost immediately kernel panics on attempting to resume or enter sleep (it varies when it panics). This behavior is inconsistent and has resulted in strange firmware behavior such as powering off a few seconds after boot and post codes fixed after a simple reboot. I assumed it was an incompatibility with the Chimera kernel and the Framework 12 (Chimer is broadly speaking weird), so I started using the far more normal KaOS a few days ago. To my surprise, KaOS is also showing the same behavior. The key similarity between the two distros is dinit leading me to believe this could be an incompatibility with dinit itself. Perhaps because the Linux kernel and GNU are now just components of the wider Systemd operating system, there is some firmware incompatibility with non-systemd init systems. Both Chimera and KaOS are using s2idle for sleep.
