Cooler Fan Screws

I noticed an interesting issue. I was working to replace my cooler fan, test a different fan. I wanted to use an artic fan. That wasn’t the issue. The issue cam when I was trying to reinsert the screws. One screw when fine, but it seems the black tip of the screws in the other screw holes peeled off in those holes and are preventing the ability to screw them back down all the way like it is blocking the threads in the hole. There wasn’t an pressure done I just let them thread normally.

I’m stuck using washers to sort of thread the holes… why did we get such brittle screws?

By the way the Artic fan is really good. It’ll reduce temps over the RGB Cooler Master and is quieter.

Which Artic Fan did you use specifically?

P12 Pro it is better than the Cooler Master. It has a lot of wire I just wrapped it around the fan. My problem is the cheap screws Framework included where I will need to figure out to fix the fan mounting. Altough everything is working just fine.
