I replaced my Framework 16’s back cover in October. A week after that repair, the back cover has started creaking. Does anyone have advice to lessen the creaking, or did I just get unlucky?
EDIT: Actually, it could be the hinges.
You could try taking it apart most of the way and putting it back together slowly to see where the noise is coming from.
If one is quite careful, a small drop of oil could be put where the squeak is.
