You can reprogram the keyboard’s QMK firmware to do pretty much anything you want.

There is also this thread that will let show you how to reflash the keyboard with firmware that can communicate with OpenRGB

> FW16 OpenRGB Guide I recently picked up my Framework 16, and wanted to run OpenRGB on it so I could make my RGB keyboard synced with my audio. I’ve figured it out, so here’s a brief rundown on installing OpenRGB (in this example on Fedora), setting up a QMK environment, compiling and flashing your board. PLEASE NOTE: VIA DOES NOT WORK WITH OPENRGB! You can find precompiled binaries for the RGB ANSI Keyboard and the RGB Macropad [HERE](https://github.com/Knucklesfan/qmk_firmware.git): I’ll be potsing each step in a different post, but you can …

OpenRGB has simple lighting effects and capabilities which you can then extend with an application such as Artemis or Aurora RGB that communicate through OpenRGB which will let you do much more advanced effects like reactive keypresses.
