@pierce , I’m embarrassed to say that slipped my mind for the few minutes I was typing out that post. :facepalm: I knew better.

I also didn’t know about Insyde and AMD AGESA. TIL.

@James3, I know it’s rare which is why I don’t blame Framework and I didn’t anticipate that was the original issue. I am very very lucky it didn’t break the new mainboard. I’m going to send both back to Framework for individual analysis.

I see a new update! I think this time I’m going to wait a couple months. That’s exactly how it looked before. That last one doesn’t show up in Synaptic.

Yes, that’s the system firmware / BIOS / UEFI update. See the release notes on fwuod.org.
