I’m kicking myself over being so careless, but part of me feels better knowing I bought a laptop where parts can be replaced. This will be the second surgery my baby goes under, and it’s really starting to look like the repairability is going to fully pay itself off within 2 years of adopting this thing

Does it still work? If so is it easy to only replace the plastic case?

If you are lucky you only need to replace the shell.
