I already have Win 11 installed on my laptop but I’m trying to dual boot Parrot OS. When I try to boot from my USB drive with Parrot on it it says EFI USB device (Drive name) boot failed.
solution: i forgot to turn off secure boot.

Read up on this

especially
Boot flag is used for vintage boot partitions (msdos type) if memory serves me well.
My efi partition looks like:
Number Start (sector) End (sector) Size Code Name
1 2048 1023999 499.0 MiB 0700 EFI system partition
2 1024000 205823999 97.7 GiB 8300
3 205824000 1000215182 378.8 GiB 8300
mount | grep efi
efivarfs on /sys/firmware/efi/efivars type efivarfs (rw,nosuid, nodev, noexec, relatime)
/dev/nvme0n1p1 on /boot/…

Just out of curiosity, are you using Parrot OS for work or personal use? First time using Linux or no?
I’m using it for personal use and I’ve been using linux for a few years.
(I’m using the HTB version of parrot btw)
