Hi everyone!
I’m eagerly awaiting my batch 15 Framework Desktop, and I was curious if anyone had tried out video game emulation on the Desktop (or similar machines) and what performance they had gotten. I’m probably going to be throwing Bazzite on it, which appears to come stock with a lot of options for emulators.
My ultimate hope is to be able to emulate Xbox 360 and maybe PS4 games, as my PS5 arrived with a backwards compatibility defect and I’ve been unable to replay Bloodborne for a while.
I’m curious about PlayStation 1, Gamecube/Wii and PlayStation 2 as well. I own a Steam Deck but was a little disappointed in the end performance of some PS2 games.
What are you emulating? What kind of performance are you getting? I’d absolutely welcome some recommendations on content creators if anyone is making benchmarks
