Ethernet expansion card not working on all ports

Hi there,
I’ve recently noticed, that the ethernet card doesnt work on the upper 2 ports (1 & 4). The 2 LED’s are on with the red one blinking slowly.
Is this a problem with the USB4.0 spec or a hardware issue?

I have a 13" and one common solution to failure to recognise some expansion cards and ports and even failures to boot fully is a main board reset.

I haven’t check this out for the 16" as I usually ignore 16" topics.

So . . . maybe there is something similar for the 16"

Dead RTC Battery (11th Gen Intel)

You may have to do a main-board reset. You may have read by now but in the 11th Gen CPU there was a flaw (in the Intel CPU that wasn’t recognised even by Intel ) that meant if it completely powered down and had no clock to refer to it would lock, hence the main board reset There is now a category where you can offer and sell parts if you want to get rid of the 11th Gen

According to the following only port 2 has everything going for it

I don’t usually use those ports because I use them for usbC and charging, but just tested and it works fine in them just like any other place.
