Hi! I’m selling my Framework 16, bought in July 2026 and in very good shape. The reason I’m selling it is because in the end I decided that a desktop PC was more adequate for my workload after all, and I won’t benefit as much from what the Framework 16 is good at.
I tried to document everything below as much as possible, including the issues that were encountered since unboxing and the replacements that were done by Framework Support to resolve them. See Additional Notes for the details, but right now everything works fine. Over 22 months of warranty remain, and I will provide the invoice and the laptop’s original packaging.
Be aware that I strongly prioritize local handover (remise en main propre) as I don’t want to risk putting a machine this expensive through a carrier. I am willing to make arrangements to make this as smooth and costless to us both as possible, depending on where you live. More details about this in the relevant section.

Additional Notes:
- I replaced the original Wi-Fi module with the AX210 because of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth problems that I encountered. They were most likely due to driver instability on Linux (Fedora). This is a known issue of this card, so the card itself is not defective as far as I can tell, but I didn’t test it on Windows. The AX210 module works flawlessly though. You can have both anyway, but the one that is preinstalled will be the Intel one by default.
- There was originally a problem with the input modules when this laptop shipped (modules not detected on the right side), this was solved by contacting Framework Support and replacing the midplate under Warranty. No problem whatsoever since the replacement. The only thing I should disclose is that screw number 15 on the replacement midplate never reaches a firm stop when tightening, it keeps turning. Otherwise it’s functional, it holds the midplate where it should and nothing looks misaligned. You still have to loosen it in order to remove the midplate and the laptop looks and behaves normally since the replacement. I still mentioned it in my original ticket with Framework Support for the midplate replacement and chose not to ask for another replacement as everything works. I can provide that correspondence if you ever want to raise it with them, as proof that it was here from the beginning.
- The 240W Power Adapter stopped working at some point and was replaced recently (early August) by Framework Support. The new one works without issues.
- I am willing to keep the SSD if you already have yours, with a price cut.
