Hey framework fans!
After two happy years, I’m selling my FW 16. It is an excellent laptop, my favorite one yet, but I do no longer need the big screen and numpad as I now have a dedicated laptop for work. I’ve spent some time with my wife’s FW 12 and I just love the small form factor for reading and browsing, so I decided to switch to a 13.
Device: Framework 16 AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS + Expansion Bay Shell
Included Parts:
- The laptop, with its motherboard replaced in November 2025 by FW after a defect in the old one. New motherboard uses PTM.
- Expansion Bay Shell
- 16 GB of DDR-5600 (from Framework). I can remove it and reduce the price by 150€.
- Screen: original screen. Some marks from the keyboard, but they are not visible when the screen is on. I only saw them when taking pictures for this post.
- Input modules: AZERTY keyboard (1st gen) + numpad (1st gen)
- Orange beszel
- Original battery. Cycle count: 334, Capacity: 5053 / 5491 mAh (92%)
- Webcam 2nd gen (which replaced the original one in June 2026)
- Power: original 180W power brick (EU/KR). The plastic of the USB C-to-C cable has been damaged a little over a year ago; I taped it to be safe and it’s been fine ever since.
- No storage (I prefer to keep my disks)
- Extensions:
- 1 USB C “silver”
- 1 USB C “translucent purple” (without receipt - I can replace it by a “silver” or a green “sage” if you prefer)
- 2 USB A silver
- 1 HDMI “silver” 3rd gen
- 1 audio jack
- If you want, I can add an RJ45 (new, I only used it 2 or 3 times) for +35 €.

The laptop is in very good condition. Some light traces due to normal use are visible on the chassis. The more visible can be seen on the pictures, beside the keyboard.
