Hey, I recently got a Framework 13” AMD AI 9, DIY version, and was wondering about some of the assembly around the expansion cards.
I’ve gotten 3xUSB-C, 1xUSB-A, and 1xHDMI. They, pretty much every one of them, feel different when they inserted into their slots. There’s one that seems flush with the rest of the chassis. Some of the has one edge actually outwards another flash, there’s another that feels clearly short in their slot, and one that is half-half again being inside and flush.
I was chatting with another person I know to have bought the 13, though not sure which generation, and they told me for them it’s all flush and nice, and it made me wonder, is my experience unusual, or theirs? Or something else is going on?
How’re your experiences with the expansion cards, do they feel flush with the socket/chassis, or more “random” like mine feel?
