Fan screw threaded and stripped, loose duct

Just got my desktop and started build. It’s been fine until one screw for the fan. I think the screw must have threaded so hasn’t gone all the way and there’s a bit of a gap. Tried to get it out and now the heads stripped. And I can’t get a grip on it with pliers.

Eeeeek! Not sure what to do - am I going to get horrible rattle or something? I think the fan itself is quite secure with the other 3 screws and most of this one.

Have you tried a screw remover tool like this one:

Noting the curved end, so it makes a better grip of the curve of the screw head.
