I’m new to Linux (currently using Pop 21.04 hirsute). Does anyone know how to get the fingerprint scanner working? Also, is there a way to disable/lower the fingerprint scanner’s light? Thanks in advance!

I am running the same. There are threads on here that cover building libfprint and fprintd iirc. I’m running 1.92.x. I ran into issues with 1.94.x so stayed on 1.92.x It works well. I don’t believe that there is any way to reduce the brightness of the light right now, but I recall reading that it is on the list for a future firmware update at some point.
