FIXED - No sound through HDMI in Coolermaster Case - 11th gen Intel

Hello!

I’ve upgraded my Framework 13, and installed my old 11th gen intel board into the coolermaster case. Unfortunately, when I connect the board to my TV through HDMI, I get no sound.

Originally when I first connected my board, I didn’t have an audio board plugged in (oversight on my part). This may have uninstalled the device in windows. I’ve since:

  1. bought and installed the audio board into the coolermaster case
  2. Made sure that Standalone mode is enabled in BIOS
  3. Reinstalled the latest driver bundle for 11th gen intel

I’m unsure of what I can do next to ensure that my sound is working. I have a new HDMI cable ordered just in case this one is faulty. Would appreciate some help :slight_smile: !

Edit - This might be a driver issue. Under Audio devices, I have “High definition Audio device” using windows drivers. I’m unable to install the realtek audio drivers that came with the driver bundle.

Wanted to Say I fixed my issue by reinstalling windows 11. Might help someone else but I didn’t know what else to do. Works well now.
