Just tested it myself and it IS quite frustrating.
If you move your mouse diagonally towards the login, the whole window disappears - as visible on your demo.
When you move your mouse straight down, it works.
The problem is - now I cannot un-see it 
I didn’t see the straight down part. That’s some wierd UI coding…
