Hi. I have several questions about reusing framework 13 mainboard as a mini computer without a battery. Due to the intel 11th gen CPU flaws, I have constantly reset my mother board if I don’t use it for a while. I have decided to make it mini PC I can use the PC when I want to without the hassle. Yet, I soon faced some power problems and I have consult the AI but without solid answer. I intend to not use battery for laptop anymore if possible.
I have faced throttle before using the framework 60W charger only so I changed to use a macbook pro16 charger and it raised the BIO setting PL2 (Short Term) to 64W. However, the computer still freeze from time to time. I am wondering what is best settings we can have if I intend to use my framework mainboard with cooler master case? Is the extra power from the battery absolutely necessary for optimal performance? Thanks.
