Hello everyone, I’m having an issue with my framework laptop fan (Framework 13 11th gen intel from 2022). A couple days ago, my fan started intermittently pulsing at max speed for 2-3sec to a couple minutes at random intervals. Temps are fine, it happens even when idle. The fan is very loud and distracting. I’ve tried re-applying thermal paste which seems to have fixed it for a couple hours but it came back pretty quickly. I’ve also tried software fixes (I’m on Arch linux), with `fw-fanctrl` and other utilities but nothing had any effect on that particular behaviour. Any ideas ? Thanks a lot for your attention. ---

Same here. I tried replacing the thermal paste on the CPU, but that didn’t help, so I have just ordered a new fan kit. Will see if that fixes it. ---

I did too after going through Framwork’s support. I’ll report back when installed and let you know. ---

I swapped the heatsink and fan kit for a new one and it seems to have fixed it (~10h after changing it, not issues). ---
