I keep getting an update option on my framework 13 laptop about needing to update amd drivers
The window says “Could not be installed on your system” when i go to install it and if i click on the redo button it stops again around 30% and goes to this message
what should i do?
Does that app have any logs that you can look at? I am not too familiar with Windows, but it should be recorded somewhere. Also what does that “here” hyperlink do?
I had the same issue with my non-framework desktop last night. The ere hyperlink just takes you to a basic troubleshooting page. I just had to install the drivers directly from AMD’s website instead of through AMD’s updater. It’s an AMD bug, not a Framework one.
So I tried that 1 day ago, it didn’t work, but when updating windows today i saw that it said it updated a bit of the drivers, so maybe that along with my AMD website download after fixed my bug cause now it says up to date
