Framework 13" Restarting when closed/sleep and DNS reset on Ubuntu 24.04

Issue:

When I put the computer to sleep by closing the lid, often I’ll come back to the computer being off and having to power on. This is the first issue. The second issue, is that once it does come back on, the wifi has a ? in the icon and often I find myself having to add a DNS server to /etc/resolv.conf to get it to work again. This is quite frustrating and hoping to find some help here to resolve this and make my brand new (1 week) framework laptop rock solid and stable!

For what it’s worth, I believe I’m also on the latest firmware according to fwupdmgr

Perhaps this thread should be merged with this one. That latter thread contains seemingly useful information, including some workarounds.
