I am wondering if i can get 5 monitors working with my framework 16 I am thinking of using this [Plugable Thunderbolt 4 Docking Station for 4K Quad Monitors, 100W Lapt ~ Plugable Technologies](https://plugable.com/products/tbt-6950pd) I currently have one that supports 3 monitors and i can get all 3 working with a 4 monitor set up. What i want to do is use the internal display as 1 monitor have 3 external displays as their own desktops and use the 4th external display as a mirror to one of the displays on my desk. Is that possible with something like this? I cannot quite find out about the mirroring side of this. the 3 current external displays that i have are all hdmi only. i currently use internal as monitor 1 monitor 2 and 3 have the desktops extended on them. and monitor 4 mirrors monitor 3. i want to add monitor 5 and have the desktop extend on to that one as well so 1, 2, 3/4, and 5 is what I am wanting to do.

Here’s a post about external displays for reference:

> Hello y’all! While waiting for my Batch 2 shipment I love to check out the product pages over and over again to not forget what I’ll soon have in my hands smile I noticed an inconsistency scrolling through the Specs and Modules info, or maybe I’m not understanding something correctly, or this is just the default text for all the FW-laptops. The diagram on the left shows 3 Display-outputs, but in the “Modules” section seen on the right it mentions up to 4 screens. Now I’m not sure if the lat…

Looks like the iGPU can handle 4 and the dGPU can handle 4. So, you would need to connect at least one monitor to the dGPU (assuming you have a dGPU).

Beware though that Plugable 4-monitor dock has two outputs that are DisplayLink, and they don’t take the computer’s GPU displays, they are their own displays in a sense.
