Framework 16 isn't recognizing the RGB macro pad

My partner has the RGB macro pad in addition to the RGB keyboard (with the clear keycaps) but we haven’t gotten it to function. Pushing any of the buttons does nothing and the RGB doesn’t turn on.

I’ve taken the macro pad out and re-seated it a couple times and whenever I try to update the firmware for the macro pad, Windows tells me it’s not detecting it.

No USB device with VID 32AC PID 0013 found. Aborting

At this point I’m not sure what step I’m missing or if there is an issue with the macro pad itself.
