Framework 16 AMD 7080HS. Windows 11 installed via framework’s guide.
Having another issue with my Framework 16. I’ve finally gotten passed all of the bluescreens I was having before. But now it seems like my audio is having major trouble. It pretty much mirrors this person’s issues exactly. Basically when you use the speaker it sounds fine for a couple seconds and very quickly becomes inaudible out of the left channel. Let it sit for a handful of minutes, it’s back to normal, then will quiet again after use. I can hear it go down gradually from Windows test speakers. I’ve tried reinstalling drivers and restarting obviously. But nothing is helpful.
The person in the thread mentions they solved it by reinstalling Windows correctly. Which I have already done in the first place, and as this would be the 4th time reinstalling Windows on this machine and moving over all of my files and reinstalling apps I’m not very keen on setting aside another afternoon for redundant work. But I assume from symptoms this is a software bug? It doesn’t seem to be behaving like a hardware one.
Any ideas are welcome! I’m just worried I’m gonna reinstall Windows and it’ll be back within a week lol
