Framework 16 vs. Framework 13 Internal SSD Speed Variation

I have a Framework 13 Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 155H 3.80 GHz laptop and a Framework 16 AMD Ryzen™ 7040 Series 3.80 GHz laptop. They both have WD_BLACK SN850X 4TB SSDs and 40 GB of RAM. They both run on Windows 11 Pro. I’m curious about the wide variation in SSD speeds between these two laptops. Some of the SSD speed parameters are much slower in the Framework 13 per CrystalDiskMark. Any ideas on what explains these differences? I can send images of the speed reports if anyone is curious. I couldn’t figure out how to display them in this text.

the FW13 has a bios setting that throttles the PCIE link speeds to gen3 when its on battery, maybe check that
