Framework AI 300 and nVidia 5070 Expansions, why the limitation?

While looking at the new AI 300 series CPUs, I noticed that they limit which expansion bays you can get based upon what CPU you get. Like if I get the AI 7 350 I can order the 5070 8GB GPU, but not the 12GB one. I would have to bump up to the HX 370 CPU in order to get that.

Is there some weird compatibility issue with the amount of GPU RAM? Is it intentionally limited when doing a custom build and works fine if you order separate? I see no reason why the limitation, since they appear to be the same other than the amount of RAM.

I don’t see why it wouldn’t work and would like some clarification or if somebody has actually tested to confirm it does/doesn’t work.

I believe that this is an artifact of their preordering system, and that if you were to buy a 12GB GPU to use with the AI 7 350 it would work fine.
