Framework Desktop Ethernet not working in Ubuntu Server

I just got my Framework Desktop and loaded Ubuntu Server 24.04.3 LTS on it. It didn’t detect the built in NIC so I plugged in an adapter which it picked up fine and finished the installation. I ran the framework updates (Updating BIOS on Linux) along with the apt updates and upgrades hoping to see the nic show up to no avail. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, how did you resolve it? I’d rather not have to have a ethernet adapter plugged into it full time, especially when they tout the 5GB nic as a feature and I was planning to leverage it. Please let me know if you have any questions or need additional information.

Hey @Joshua_Shear Feel free to shoot a message to support and the Linux team will be happy to help you out.

Sorry for not replying sooner. I spoke with framework support and they essentially said they weren’t going to support Ubuntu server. I have since switched to Fedora Server and its working much better.
