# Framework display externally with displayport

I thought of switching to the matte panel for obvious reasons. Because of that I‘d like to reuse my old display externally. Is there a possibility of a simple adapter board?

You need to carefully remove our custom eDP cable and then insert the cable that comes with the adapter board.
