For me, it works removing the power and plug it back.
I would say, it works 50%. I’ve had a script running in the background and toggle a smart plug when it happens. But it doesn’t work if you have the Framework plug and a docking station.
You have to turn off both powers but then the dock looses all devices plugged in. E.g. network which is not a solution for me when working in the office.
I would love to have a small tool which can force the notebook back to normal.
I analyzed everything with Claude and my FW16 is back to normal power after 5 minutes. But waiting 5 minutes very often each day makes me crazy.
I like the idea of FW, but the state of the firmware and how bugs are not solved shows me to never again buy a FW.
My next solution will be a high power VM at home and working with a MacBook on my VM from everywhere.
