FW 16 AMD-AI-300 (all batches) shipment tracking thread

Just placed my order for Batch 11! So excited to finally jump to a Framework after my Asus Flow X16 died three years after purchase (with lots of issues in between).

Will all of Batch 11 have to be “sold” in order to ship? I see Batch 10 is already about to ship.

I don’t think you’ll need to wait for all batch 11 machines to sell, if they fulfill all pre orders they’ll just move the machine to in stock and people will buy as normal.

Batch 10 has mostly, if not entirely, shipped. Mine is currently heading up the motorway to my nearest delay and sorting hub about 2 miles away and should be with me today despite my earlier scepticism.

Welcome to the ecosystem, I got sucked in back in August with their desktop and now I’m waiting for my laptop. When another laptop or 2 dies I’ll be getting a 13 for my wife.

I just got my Batch 10 today, now to figure out how to install Linux for the first time

So apparently the black usb-c Expansion card is out of stock so that is what delayed my order. I changed it yesterday to a translucent black and now I hope I will be charged soon so shipment can finally happen

Thanks for the welcome! Unexpectedly, and surprisingly, I just got my batch preparation email today stating “outstanding balance will be charged in 3-18 days” and “shipped 1-3 days after”, which I was not expecting at all!

My top tip is to look into getting a usb flash drive with a tool called ventoy on it. That way you don’t need to worry about taking isos and preparing a usb flash drive for each, you must install it to the flash drive and copy the iso over and when you boot you pick which one you want. Nice and easy. I’ve got about 10 or 15 Isos on there, including a windows 11 one for just in case a family member asks me to fix their machine.

To save multiple posts, my batch 10 arrived yesterday too but not until about 6 when they delivered it to the wrong house, but I saw the van, so I went and knocked on the neighbour’s door and asked for it.

@versipellis if it helps at all, I got my prep notice on 2026-01-02 and it came to the UK yesterday, so you could have it within the fortnight. Some US customers can get them in 3 days if they don’t get trapped in the Memphis customs trap. This is my post here in this thread with the timeline my order went through

Hi everyone,

Does anyone else here in Batch 10 got their package stuck at France right now since saturday around 5:10AM? On my FedEx tracking it says it arrived there on 16th January 2026 at 4:32PM after that it says it’s available for clearance at 7:20PM. But after that nothing happened until 3:46AM on 17th January 2026 then it said “On The Way” and then at 5:10AM it says it has left the FedEx Hub in france and now I have had 0 updates for more than 24 hours :confused:. I haven’t seen the “International Shipment Release - Import” that some seem to have got. So is there a chance the package thingy is still in france awaiting to be cleared or did it really leave the FedEx Hub and it’s on it’s way by ground to my country?

My package is expected to be delivered between 9:30 AM - 1:30 PM on 20th janaury 2026 according to FedEx.

Also is anyone else on same status as mine?

Update: I checked airport in france where pallet of laptops landed at, to be cleared and then seperated to individual packages and now I see that airport has a FedEx flight heading towards my country that is scheduled at 19:00/9:00PM today. But to wrong city thought so hopefully it’s just heading there to then be loaded onto next FedEx flight on Monday from that city to correct city so it arrives on time to be loaded on a vehicle and then become out for delivery status.

Update #2: So after some patient waiting and tracking the flight heading to the airport and before it landed like 2 mins before I reloaded the tracking page at FedEx and all of sudden at 8:41PM a status came up in my city saying package is on a sorting facility at the destination and then 8:42PM it says “On The Way”.

So it seems it did not get the “international Shipment Release - Import” on my tracking like some do. But most important is that it was cleared and is now going to be delivered Monday 19th January or on the scheduled date which is Tuesday 20th January. Hopefully it’s tomorrow otherwise i have another 24 hours to wait :confused:

Hey everyone. Has anyone from US gotten their Batch 10 yet? I got the email about the Batch going out but I have yet to get a tracking number or a request for the balance.

Some updates regarding my packatge:

It came to city yesterday and then to local facility today, there it still said planed deliver 20 january 2026 9:30AM - 1:30PM.
around 9:10 or 9:20AM it changed to Monday 9:30AM - 1:30PM 19th january as planned delivery and nothing. At around 11:00AM it went back to planed deliver tuesday 20 january 9:30AM - 1:30PM and around 12:00AM a FedEx vehicle showed up infront of my house and delivered my FrameWork 16 inch laptop. So it seems they have a system issue since girl didn’t have a portable device with her to scan it and mark it as delivered, since tracking still says it’s planed for delivery tomorrow, but main thing is i got laptop now at last :slight_smile:

Full timeline for me-

Jan 11 - Order placed, Batch 11

Jan 12 - Batch preparation email

Jan 14 - Card charged

Jan 15 - Order shipped from TW

Jan 16 - Order arrives; somehow bounces between Oakland, CA and Memphis, TN

Jan 19 - Arrives to me on the East Coast

I was expecting everything to take a while, that was a little insane how quick it was.

For me the laptop left on 15th as well and arrived at 19th, it did have schedule for 20th in beginning but since it arrived to destionation on 18th of jan. So then FedEx changed it to 19th scheduled delivery. Which it then did arrive on 19th as they put :slight_smile:

I am batch 10 and I ordered on the 6th I have not been sent the payment email yet. I assume it may be from something on back order maybe? I’m getting impatient, been exited for this to come in.

Maybe you got a product listed that is out of stock so your order is being held back. I saw some 1 else had this, once they replaced the item with one that is in stock. Then their order started to move and they recived a payment confirmation mail.

Nothing shows that way. at least that I am aware of

well no it does not. But if you go through your list you can identify if any is out of stock. That is what another user did and how he found out a part in his list was out of stock. That held his order up longer due to it was out of stock.

I’ve been looking around and I cant seem to find if anything is out of stock.

I feel like I’m missing something. I could just be tired and am overlooking something.

this includes the expansion modules and such too.

If any of these are out of stock then your order will be held longer.

Looked into it, all the DDR5 is coming soon, changed it and am ordering it off of amazon now, I appreciate your help!
